Judgment526 • 1 year ago

Welp, thought a guy would finally show up in the last episode, but nope, just a monkey and an octopus, lol

Whoever • 1 year ago

well a guy did showed up

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

I don't know if Season 2 is going to be produced or no.
The manga isn't finished yet, but I have already read a little bit of it and

Spoiler ahead: That guy who transformed into a tanuki to move around is the same guy sensei falls in love with when she was young.

Mr_knight • 1 year ago

You read manga ?

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

The manga release is slow too, so I forgot where I last stopped.
I will just wait until season 2 released, which probably will take years XD

Mr_knight • 1 year ago

Man , for real I really hate it when manga release is too slow , it takes much time , and after some time we forget about it

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

Yeah, can't wait for it so I went ahead and read it first.

Mr_knight • 1 year ago

Nice

shinichi kudoz • 1 year ago

why did they not got together tho?

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

If I have to judge it from the previous episode...
Either the guy didn't realize it, or he did know that sensei has feeling for him but can't end up together for a reason.
As explained, the young ninja and shinobi left the villages because of romance, which ended up causing a possible issue of zero ninja and shinobi graduation. The ninja and shinobi are important at that era as they serve as assassins and spies, so can't blame them for having the need to keep the tradition.

And it is probably for the sake of the villages that they both might have decided to not end up like a couple. Those teachers who stayed behind either did fell in love in the past but decided to do what is best for the sake of the villages, or those who didn't fall in love.

Jyuan • 1 year ago

They probably ended up together and just live separately for now to teach younger generation Shinobi

shinichi kudoz • 1 year ago

but the teacher said to tsubaki that she might fall in love in the future, does that mean she will eventually let her see men?
its still not explained where the kids came from and how they end up in the ninja school.

Leo Aestron • 1 year ago

They were orphans, I think.

lady vivi ★ • 1 year ago

There is no otoko, only tako.

Noah Winns-Cromer • 1 year ago

I've read the manga.

Closest we get to a man is when Hana-Sensei is in the bath and we see a glimpse of the man, albeit we don't really see him.

Golb89 • 1 year ago

Kinda like toward the end of this episode?

Noah Winns-Cromer • 1 year ago

Yes.

Golb89 • 1 year ago

Well, judging from what we saw at the end of previous episode, it was pretty obvious that thing would turn out to not even be human to begin with (though i still question how the heck a freaking octopus even ended up in the middle of those mountain, let alone it teaming up with a monkey...? Wtf was all that about?)

Lord • 1 year ago

We got our hopes up for nothing.

strange guy • 1 year ago

Seriously I wasn’t expecting too much

Mr_knight • 1 year ago

A guy did show up tho 😜

Linkneo5 • 1 year ago

I was going to comment that will he retain his power or loose them and here we are.

Whoever • 1 year ago

It's a human ?! is it a male ?! NO It's a octopus-monkey!

Judgment526 • 1 year ago

Yeah yeah, guys are monsters.

We get the message, lol

Time Sky • 1 year ago

That was a tough octo-monkey

NGL. When I started this, I had a very low expectations and that's because this is my least favorite manga from Yamamoto Souichirou (Tagaki-san)

But it turned out to be quite good. Seeing it being animated really feels different and the production quality is quite high. And what I love the most is how all the 12 teams have their ending theme; I really looked forward to that part every week.

This is 8/10 for me and now I really wish it has another season.

And this is the end of the second show in the Forehead-Verse. The third and the last one is coming this summer.

XanKaBoi • 1 year ago

Forehead appreciation

Judgment526 • 1 year ago

Got more forehead incoming this new season with Soredemo Ayumu wa Yosetekuru, lol

wwlaos • 1 year ago

That's my favorite of the three, in manga form. Looking forward to the anime adaptation!

Noah Winns-Cromer • 1 year ago

Soredemo Ayumu, will be airing next week and will be released by SILVER LINK, the studio behind Jahy-sama, Masamune-kun's Revenge, Hamefura, World's Finest Assassin, Watamote, Misfit at Demon Academy, Misfit's knockoff anime wannabe Greatest Demon Lord is Reborn, among others.

Sip Fu • 1 year ago

I can only applaud SILVER LINKs amazing ability to turn series I didn't like into something better than watchable.
I'm anxious to see how they do with Soredemo Ayumu as I actually liked reading that manga.

How bad IS Boruto BTW?

oj • 1 year ago

you don't wanna know

Seosamh Wray • 1 year ago

Started off promising but unfortunately the depowering/removal of characters like Naruto and Sasuke who would be capable of fighting the agents dispatched by the Otsutsuki Clan was not done very well and it's got it's fair share of filler to boot. Add in that the characters and stories just aren't as interesting as the original and you have a show falling greatly short of its predecessor.

shinichi kudoz • 1 year ago

boruto's character development happened in just one movie LMAO

Seosamh Wray • 1 year ago

Yeah the movie did that pretty well. Unfortunately the show gave us 2 or 3 arcs before getting to the Chunin exams, which while ok weren't anything special. Combined with all the filler and not having a good way to write Naruto and Sasuke out of the story (it's kind of hard to treat the new villains as a genuine threat when there's a couple of demigods walking around ready to take them out and preparing for when they'd show up) Boruto just couldn't live up to its predecessor.

shinichi kudoz • 1 year ago

because so far, what it aims, is becoming a dragonball 2.0. the best example yet is code getting his limiter removed. which they said make him stronger than isshiki LMAO but out of nowhere daemon is actually stronger. instead of making good characters, they just focus on writing op characters instead. heck these new villains have the abilities to directly counter sasuke and naruto plus they got nerfed pretty hard now.

Superb Villain Veigar • 1 year ago

Agreed!

Golb89 • 1 year ago

Is that a rundabout way to say SL sucks? Because Jahy-sama and Hamefura are the only series among those you listed that were watchable (Watamote was especially pathetic, no matter what your tastes might be like), and you left out some like Bakatest that were great instead...

Noah Winns-Cromer • 1 year ago

TBF, I'm already listing quite a resume on anime SL worked on. Can't really name EVERY anime they worked on.
As to your question, no I'm not saying they suck.

strange guy • 1 year ago

I wouldn’t even rate it like that the animation quality is good but definitely had some meh episodes I would probably give 6 or 7

Archie Andrew's 1000 • 1 year ago

Yep 8/10 is the best score for this.
